Questions
What are the advantages of a fiberglass pool?
Fiberglass pools resist algae growth, require less maintenance, and last 25+ years without resurfacing. They offer quicker installation times and lower long-term maintenance costs compared to concrete pools.
Do you offer pool financing options?
Yes, we partner with LightStream to provide financing options for pool projects. This allows homeowners to spread costs over time with competitive rates and flexible terms for qualified applicants.
How often should pool water be tested?
Test pool water 2-3 times weekly to maintain proper pH and chemical levels. Regular testing prevents equipment damage, ensures swimmer safety, and maintains water clarity throughout the swimming season.
Can vinyl pool liners be repaired?
Minor vinyl liner tears can often be repaired with patches, but extensive damage or aging liners typically require full replacement. We recommend replacing liners every 5 years to prevent leaks and maintain aesthetics.
What maintenance does a spa require?
Spas need regular filter cleaning, water chemistry balancing, and equipment checks. Most maintenance doesn't require draining, but periodic deep cleaning and professional inspections ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Do you install pool safety features?
Yes, we install Coverstar automatic safety covers and recommend perimeter fencing. These features meet safety standards while providing energy savings through reduced evaporation and chemical usage for both pools and spas.
