Our Services

We specialize in creating custom in-ground gunite swimming pools that are designed to complement your home and lifestyle. Our range of pool design styles includes Geometric, Greco Roman, Freeform, and Lagoon-style pools. We also offer outdoor kitchens, which can elevate your backyard living experience to the next level. Our outdoor kitchens are designed to meet your specific needs and preferences, complete with accessories and supplies from our retail store.

Our Process

Our process begins with a complimentary site visit, where we'll meet with you to discuss your project scope, stylistic preferences, and take measurements of your property. From there, we'll create a 3D design proposal, which we'll present to you at a design meeting held at our showroom in Lakeview, New Orleans. Once you've agreed upon the design, we'll begin the construction process, which includes digging the hole for the foundation, installing a steel rebar frame, laying plumbing, spraying gunite over the rebar frame, and finishing work, including decking and tiling.

Designing and Building a Custom Pool

At Backyard Living, we understand that designing and building a custom pool should be an exciting experience for you and your family. Our process begins with a quick phone call to ensure we're a good fit for your dream pool. From there, we'll schedule a complimentary site visit to gather measurements and discuss your wants and needs. We'll create a 3D render of your space and proposed pool, and once you've agreed upon the design, we'll obtain the necessary permits and begin construction. After completion, we'll clear away any mess, provide a pool start-up consultation, and you'll be ready to swim!
