• Test the water for proper pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and other essential parameters
• Add necessary chemicals to maintain a healthy pool environment
• Thoroughly vacuum the pool floor and walls
• Brush the pool walls to remove any dirt or debris
• Net the surface for leaves, bugs, and other debris
• Clean the tile and surrounding areas
• Empty skimmer baskets and strainer baskets
• Backwash the filter, and test-fire the heater

Summerizing and Winterizing
